" The extension of the Law of Non-Violence in the domain of economics means nothing less than the introduction of Moral Values to be used in regulating international commerce...You cannot build a non-violent society based on exploitation. Exploitation is the essence of violence." Mahatma Gandhi
Yajna is the spirit of self-sacrifice.
The spirit of self-sacrifice is the essence of Universal Law.
The essence of Universal Law is the Law of Life
______________________
Therefore, Yajna is the Law of Life.
Yajna is seen as the creative act of weaving that cosmic fabric in which everything has its place and receives its meaning.
‘Yajna’ means an act devoted to the welfare of others, done without desiring any return for it, whether of a temporal or spiritual nature.
‘Act’ here must be taken in its widest sense and includes thought, word and deed.
‘Others’ embraces not only humanity but all of life.
As Mahatma Gandhi stated:
"Yajna in its widest context must be an act which conduces the most to the welfare of the greatest numbers in the widest area, and which can be performed by the largest number of men and women." Gandhi
The mission of Yajna centre is both the socio-economic welfare and the spiritual elevation of humanity.
The socio-economic welfare of humanity is a means to the end.
The end is the moral and spiritual elevation of humanity.
Yajna center will strive to design and construct a global economic system built on the foundation of non-violence laid by Mahatma Gandhi, and guided and governed by Moral Laws governing the universe.
MORAL LAWS GOVERNING THE UNIVERSE
· Intelligence
· Creative Force
. Selfless action
· Sacrifice
· Generosity
· Justice
· Truth
· Love
RESULTS
. Perfection
. Harmony
· Beauty
· Abundance
· Peace
Yajna Center will strive to achieve its end mission by helping humanity recognize, discover and live in conformity with the Moral Laws governing the universe and operating within ourselves.
SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST IS THE LAW OF THE JUNGLE.
UPLIFTMENT OF THE WEAKEST IS THE LAW OF HUMANITY.
Truthfully,
Arya.
Albert Einstein
" Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power; we have guided missiles and misguided men...; if we are to go forward, we must go back and rediscover those precious values: that all reality hinges on MORAL foundations and that all reality has spiritual control...The Moral arc of the universe bends at the elbow of justice."
Martin Luther King
"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us 'Universe', a part limited in time and space. We now experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of our consciousness. This delusion is a prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of understanding and compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of Nature in her beauty”
The life of the individual has meaning only insofar as it aids in making the life of every living thing nobler and more beautiful. Einstein
The high destiny of the individual is to serve rather than to rule. Einstein
A person starts to live when he can live outside of himself. Einstein
Only a life lived for others is a life worth living." Einstein
The world is a dangerous place to live in, not because of the evil people, but because of the people who do not do anything about it. Einstein
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. Einstein
Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darknes of destructive selfishness. MLK
A man who has not discovered something to die for is not fit to live. MLK
Life's most persistent and urgent question is: "What are you doing for others?" MLK
The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty of the evil people, but the silence over that by the good people. MLK
I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy. R Tagore
The present evolutionary crisis comes from a disparity between the limited faculties of Man - mental, ethical and spiritual - and the technical and economic means at his disposal.
Without an inner change, Man can no longer cope with the gigantic development of outer life. If humanity is to survive, a radical transformation of human nature is indispensable. Only spiritual realization and experience can achieve the change of the mental being into a spiritual being."
Sri Aurobindo
